WWE legend and former Olympic gold medallist, Kurt Angle praises India's medical sector

Kurt Angle is a former WWE star and a gold medal winner at the '96 Olympics. Presently, he is retired and is dealing with the numerous injuries accumulated from over twenty years of physical action in the ring.

Kurt Angle runs his podcast, the Kurt Angle Show, which he co-hosts with Paul Bromwell. During a recent episode, the legendary grappler opened up about his admiration for India's medical sector.

Upon insistence from the co-host for a health update, Kurt Angle revealed that he was due for a shoulder replacement surgery. Co-host Paul Bromwell then shared the story of an acquaintance who had both shoulders replaced in India. Paul went on to add that this was done not just for the expense but because of 'how evolved they are in the medical field'.

Kurt Angle agreed saying 'They are; there are a lot of Indian doctors here, a lot of them'. Co-host Paul further noted that the person who had the surgeries done felt like a 'million dollars' after the procedure. Kurt Angle said the doctor he was seeing was also from India and went on to appreciate the talent.

Top-tier professional wrestlers invariably require the best in medicine to keep themselves healthy while maintaining a full-time schedule. Their approval can open the casual Westerner to the merits of India's medical sector and give medical tourism a shot in the arm to expand beyond the traditional markets of the Gulf, Eastern Africa, and South Asia.
